I see your point but I think hav ing several kinds of truths is unavoidable, but what we mean truth is complex (there are two major theories, correspondence vs coherence). Especially when taking account that we tend to equate truth when scientific accuracy of a claim against the world (eg there are two rocks here, not three), and yet the world is way more complex than this (especially when accounting for the world of human beings). We truth for non-scientific statements all the time. It's hard to argue they are not true, but they are certainly not scientifically true.
